The grapes of this wine which come from the vineyard of our winery located in Serra del Prete are harvested at the end of November. After a long maceration process, this wine is aged in steel and cement vats for a time period of about 10 months and then proceeds to be bottled without any other process to enhance its unmistakable fruity and spicy varietal character.
Organoleptic characteristics
Appearance: ruby-red wine, with deep purple tinges, sparkling. Smell: long and complex aroma, with forest-fruits, strawberry, lavender, liquorice and leather. Taste: persistent, round and tasty wine, with a good and savorily tannic and lingers long in the mouth.
