The grapes of this wine which come from the older vineyard of our winery located in Pian del Moro are harvested at the end of November. After a careful selection, the resulting wine is aged in french oak tonneaux for a time period of about 12 months, it then follows a long fining process to then be bottled up to proceed to its marketing stage.
Organoleptic characteristics
Appearance: a ruby-red wine, with deep purple tinges. Smell: long and complex aroma, with forest-fruits, raspberry, mulberry, lavender, liquorice and sweet spices notes. Taste: persistent, round and tasty wine, with a good and savorily tannic and a remarkable persistence.
